I am a skilled clinician and academic, with a Doctorate in Clinical Orthodontics from the University of Sheffield, UK. Completed a 3-year clinical orthodontics residency in the United Kingdom at the Chesterfield Royal Hospital, and the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital. I was then awarded the specialty Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. I contribute to a range of activities, I can confidently manage, treat and supervise the treatment of mild to complex orthodontic cases utilizing a range of appliances (fixed, ceramic, self-ligating, clear aligners, lingual, removable and functional appliances), and a multidisciplinary team approach providing the best outcome for orthognathic, paediatric, and restorative patients at primary and secondary healthcare settings. I have lived and worked in the UK, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, and the UAE, and documented an exceptional portfolio with a wide range of orthodontic cases. Within academia, I have authored several articles in international peer reviewed journals. Also, I have been heavily involved in teaching, training and assessing undergraduate and postgraduate orthodontic students, in particular for preparation for the Specialty Membership in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons.
