I graduated from the Vrije University in Amsterdam in the Netherlands as a general dentist. After graduating I joined the Royal Dutch Navy and worked as a dental officer for 4 years and was deployed several times. After working for the Royal Dutch Navy I was fortunate to be accepted for the post-graduate programme in Orthodontics at the Radboud University in Nijmegen, where I also met my wife Marlous. After graduating as an orthodontist, I worked as locum orthodontist in several practices all over the Netherlands. I am fluent in English, Dutch and French. In my work I love to keep challenging myself and try out new things and new technologies. I love to work with the latest 3D technologies and involve the patient in my treatment planning. In my spare time I love to travel, try out new sports, especially water sports. I love to cycle and do long tours throughout various landscapes in different countries.
